The link posted above is for read-only access to Google Calendar. It is not a method to sync the calendars between the two applications. Still looking for the solution.

    Hi doug,

Evolution 2.14 will contain read/write access to Google calendar by default. It seems to be that this feature was just finished at Google Summer Code 2007. I hope next month we'll see it in Evolution of next version of Ubuntu (will be released this October) :)

… still waiting. The addition of CalDAV support to Evolution had temporarily raised hopes for a working Evolution-Google two way sync (similar to iCal-Google). Too bad that it still doesn't work, because Evolution will not accept Google’s https URL instead of the default caldav URL.
