		<description>If you install the .deb file form Google&#039;s site, it&#039;ll add a line to your sources.list that keeps it updated. You don&#039;t have to reinstall. I&#039;m not sure where everyone thinks this info came from, but I&#039;ve been using Chrome since last fall htat way. It continually updates through the Update Manager.

From their installer (just below the Eula and the install button:
&quot;Note: Installing Google Chrome will add the Google repository so your system will automatically keep Google Chrome up to date. If you don&#039;t want Google&#039;s repository, do &quot;sudo touch /etc/default/google-chrome&quot; before installing the package.&quot;</description>
